Steps to Enrollment in KCS K-8 STEM Blended Academy
- 1. Fill out a Kihei Charter School K8 Stem Blend Academy Application and return to either the middle school or high school office.
- 2. You will receive a letter in the mail confirming the receipt of your child’s application. Included in this correspondence will be an official HI state enrollment form that must be completed and returned to
secure your enrollment spot. - 3. Once your child is enrolled in the program, you will receive an email from k12 with your registration ID number. This number will be used to create your child’s k12 account.
- 4. Your child’s teacher will contact you via phone by mid-July to discuss face to face classes, course placement and develop a Personalized Education Plan for your child. The official online K-8 start date for the 2013/2014 school year is July 29th, 2013. The first week of face to face classes is August 12th.
